Instead, you should get a sponge, put rubbing alcohol then blot this over the stained area. If this does not and there is still stain present, this is the time that you need to apply dry cleaning fluid or a spray spot remover. Ideally, this should contain a grease solvent like petroleum naphtha or tichlorethylene.

If you are still not satisfied with the results, you should buy glycerin that is found in the drug store. This should be placed on a sponge or a towel and as much as possible keep it moist.

At the same time, someone should get a wet spotter by mixing one part glycerin with also one part liquid dish washing detergent and a little water. When it is ready, you should then blot this on the stain then slowly add a few drops of ammonia.

When the stain is gone, the last thing you have to do is rinse this with cold water so there is no residue left behind on the carpet. You should blot any excess moisture then turn on the fan or use a blower to make sure everything has dried up.
